Miraculous Medal is a symbol of devotion to Mary, the Mother of God, and is worn as a pendant. It was given through a vision of St. Catherine Laboure at Paris, France, in 1830. It is called ``miraculous`` because many prayers of those who wore the medal were answered. The Association of the Miraculous Medal is giving away one free Miraculous Medal.
